Reveal Jesus to them

As the bombs drop

And as the children cry out for their mothers;

Let Jesus come to them.

Give them one more chance, Lord

Before the moment of blackness comes

Reveal Jesus to them

And what He has done.

Show them visions of the cross

Give them the interpretation

In their own tongue

Reveal Jesus to them

As the buildings drop

And the fireworks burst above

Give them one more chance to know you

Give them one more chance, to bow.

Surround your people

With angelic forces

To do battle in the air

Surround the truly innocent

With your angels of protection

And cover them with the blood.

Reveal Jesus to them

Give them visions of the cross

Write your laws on their hearts

In their own tongue

Reveal Jesus to them, and His love

Show them the way of salvation

Before the moment of blackness comes.

The Times and Seasons of God July 26, 2006

The times and seasons of God are perfect

He knows what I do not know

If  I am sent before I am ready

The voice of a stranger, I may follow

I choose to follow His voice

I choose to follow Him

I choose to wait until it’s my turn

And not force His hand.

When I am ready,

I am ready.

When I’m not,

I’ll fall.

The times and seasons of God are perfect

And I choose to wait for the High Call.

We Repent July 19, 2006

We Repent

Father God, we repent

We repent for the sins of men

We’ve lifted up idols in our cities

We’ve lifted up sin.

We repent.

We the Church, repent.

We’ve hailed prayerlessness as a virtue

Because of the busyness of men

Our integrity has been broken

Our families have been rent.

We repent.

We repent for not discipling

For not teaching the cost of redemption

To the children of men.

We repent.

These men have grown up

Who refuse to commit

Commit to their families

But will commit

      To sin

They see serving Christ as weak

And their families as fodder for their feet.

We repent for not discipling these men.

We repent.

It takes a strong man to serve his family

It takes a strong man to serve the Christ

It takes a strong man to bow down and worship

It takes a strong man to commit

     Not

          To

                Sin.

We repent.

And we the Church

Are calling all men

Rise up and be counted

      As a real man.

Follow the teachings of Jesus.

He is a real man.

It will be the hardest thing you’ve encountered

The hardest thing

     For a man.

But rise up and be counted

Be a strong man.

Take a stand for what’s right

Take a stand for the Christ

And, we, the women of the Church

Promise to pray you through,

     To the end.

And we, the Church,

Repent.

The Dove July 17, 2006

You sent the dove

The teacher of all truth

To coo and to woo

Those caught in despair

To teach and to train

The priesthood to reign.

And you gave a new language

To those who would choose.

Choose to embrace

The truth.

The truth of the Dove.
